Zan Hecht obtained the aerial photograph from Microsoft's terraserver.microsoft.com. The photo was snapped on a cloudless day in April 1998. The Main House and Dock area are clearly visible.

A black and white aerial photograph of the northwestern end of Lake Winnipesaukee. It's a high altitude USGS photo...so island features are a little fuzzy. But you can clearly see Three Mile Island in the upper left hand quadrant of the photo. Bear Island, Pine Island, Moltonboro and Meredith Necks are also visible. Shep Brown's is a large white spot on Meredith Neck due south of Pine Island. Photo Source: USGS High Altitude Aerial Photograph April 24, 1993.
